Root-knot nematode is a major pest of cotton in Northeast Louisiana. Although rotation is generally practiced by many producers, a common rotation crop such as corn or soybean often doesn’t eliminate or even greatly reduce this nematode. Many producers are using seed treatment nematicides as their primary nematicide. This study was conducted in Northeast Louisiana to evaluate the response of either Avicta Complete Cotton or AERIS in a field with a history of moderate root-knot nematode.
