Seasonal Strategies for Managing Glyphosate Resistant Italian Ryegrass

A population of glyphosate-resistant Italian ryegrass has been identified in west-central Mississippi cotton production systems. Glyphosate-resistant Italian ryegrass could compromise preplant burndown programs in cotton productions systems which utilize reduced tillage practices. Control programs for managing glyphosate-resistant Italian ryegrass will be presented.
