Multiple protocols were used to describe cotton lines as being drought tolerant. Methods of evaluation included measures both in a controlled greenhouse setting and field evaluations at multiple locations. Objectives of this project were to describe the relationships among measurable traits, characterize lines as drought tolerant or susceptible, and facilitate breeding efforts for the improvement of drought tolerance.
