Air temperatures were measured both across the mixpoint and along the length of several seed cotton dryers.  The associated burner characteristics and dimensions of the airflow transition to the mixpoint were recorded.  Data will be presented showing the variation in airflow across the width of the mixpoint and discussion will focus upon the effect that the burner, airflow ducting, and airflow transition geometry have on the temperature variation.
