Transgenic cotton lines MISCOT 8806 B2RF and MISCOT 8806 RF were crossed with conventional breeding lines and advanced to F2 and F3 generations at Mississippi State University. Segregating F2 populations were screened for CP4 EPSPS, Cry1Ac and Cry2Ab proteins using the ENVIROLOGIX QuickStix TM kit. Approximately 1500 plants representing 14 F3 populations were analyzed by Monsanto for trait homozygosity.  In addition, 500 plants were tested for presence of Cry proteins by measuring worm growth on samples of leaf tissue.  Results of testing and fiber quality will be presented.
