Management of tarnished plant bugs was studied in the Delta region of Mississippi during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Results showed that tarnished plant bugs significantly reduced yields when left untreated during the early and late seasons. In addition, nectariless cotton showed benefits to an overall tarnished plant bug IPM program. Insecticide use remains an important companent of management and use strategies will be discussed.
