Field studies evaluated tarnished plant bug nymphal distribution within cotton plants and how insecticide application may affect their distribution. Location of nymphs on cotton plants were recorded Pre-application and at 24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours after an insecticide application. Study showed in some insecticide applications will affect nymphal distribution within cotton plants.
