Trials were conducted in 2006-2008 to evaluate the benefits of Temik 15G, Aeris, Avicta Complete Pak, or Vydate alone or in various combinations for the management of the cotton root-knot nematode (Meliodogyne incognita) in a Texas High Plains cotton production system. Nematicide treatments included Temik 15G applied at 5 lb. per acre in the seed furrow at-planting, Avicta Complete Pak or Aeris applied to the cotton seed, or these same treatments with Vydate C-LV applied foliar prior to first square. As of this writing, no yield is available for 2008. All treatments which included Temik 15 G were significantly better than the untreated check. All nematicides provided numerically better yields than check. When Vydate C-LV was added to any treatment it provided a higher yield numerically than without Vydate C-LV.
