Assembly and Sorting of Homologous BAC Contigs in Allotetraploid Cotton Genomes

One challenge to integrated genetic and physical mapping of allopolyploid genomes is the separation of homologous BAC contigs to their sub-genomes and to individual chromosomes. This presentation will discuss one of our experiments to assemble and sort homologous BAC contigs in Upland cotton that has an allotetraploid genome.
