Prospects for Maximizing the Genetic Potential within the Pee Dee Germplasm Resources

This presentation reports findings from a 3-year study conducted to assess the agronomic and fiber quality performance of the Pee Dee germplasm resources compared to current cultivars.  Summary data from these multi-location trials provides a basis for recommending effective strategies to utilize specific Pee Dee germplasm lines for specific breeding purposes.
