AERIS - Seed-Applied Insecticide / Nematicide : Label and Performance Update

In 2006 Bayer CropScience launched of a new seed treatment insecticide / nematicide concept AERIS Seed-Applied System.   AERIS Seed-Applied System contains a blend of two active ingredients the systemic neonicotinoid insecticide, imidacloprid ( as Gaucho Grande) and the contact and systemically active carbamate, thiodicarb (as EXP3).  On July 9th 2007 the EPA granted registration of an in-can formulation Aeris Seed-Applied Insecticide / Nematicide.  This paper will review the 2007 field performance of Aeris Seed Applied System and the attributes of the new in-can formulation, Aeris Seed-Applied Insecticide / Nematicide.
