While irrigation can supplement rainfall in many areas of the Midsouth, not all producers have land suitable for irrigation nor have they the water supply needed for supplemental irrigation. Some fields continue to be planted to cotton each year without taking advantage of the potential increases related to rotation. This poster presentation will summarize research information from a continuous cotton study where nitrogen and potassium have been applied at different levels for several years. Yields can vary greatly as seasonal rainfall distribution can also vary greatly.
