Description Studies were conducted in Roundup Ready Flex Cotton on the Texas Southern High Plains in 2007. Propazine was applied alone and in combination with glyphosate at three rates and three different timings. Application timings were made preplant, 2-3 leaf, and 5-6 leaf growth stage. Weeds species evaluated included Palmer Amaranth, and Ivy Leaf Morningglory. Weed control ratings were taken after each application and end of season, and cotton harvested and data analyzed. Propazine offered some residual control, however timely application of glyphosate can also be a very effective and less costly option.
