Mississippi cotton variety trials were conducted at nine locations, which are distributed in two regions, Delta and Hill in
Mississippi. Sixty-two varieties were enrolled in the trials. These varieties were divided into two groups, Early and MID based on the maturity determined by the company submitting each variety. The Early-Maturity Test was comprised of 46 varieties. The MID-Maturity Test consists of 16 varieties. For every test, the enrolled varieties and the randomizations are exact same at all test locations. DP444BG/RR, DP555BG/RR, ST5599BR, and PHY370WR were used as checks in all tests. The performance including the yield, fiber quality and the loan value of each variety at each location are shown in this report. Farmers and growers may use these data as reference to select varieties for next growing season.
