Glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth currently infests 10 Georgia counties. Currently, it is not economically feasible to manage this resistant pest in Roundup Ready cotton when produced without irrigation. Studies were conducted to compare standard Roundup Ready weed management programs to similar programs in Liberty Link cotton to determine if this pest can be controlled more effectively with Ignite based programs when the crop is produced without irrigation.
