Delaying postemergence weed control from the one leaf cotton stage to the 12 leaf stage using Ignite herbicide in Liberty-Link cotton was evaluated for two years in an area where annual grass and pigweed were the dominante weed species present. Results prove that delaying postemergence applications without residual herbicides being used is detrimental to late-season weed control and yields.
