The management of cotton insects on a field by field basis is a common control strategy. Farm records, including: insect scouting, insecticide applications, and yield records are valuable sources of information to explore trends in insect populations over a large area. This information may provide insight into the management of cotton insects on a scale larger than a single field unit. In this study, farm records from three large farms in Arkansas were collected and insect population trends on these farms were observed for multiple years. The variability in insect populations among farms and among years will be examined. The optimal insect management strategy for the three farms will be discussed.
