The AMT system controls of the moisture of seed cotton by reducing drying needs and by the introduction of moisture at the seedcotton stages of the ginning process. The AMT system utilizes multiple moisture sensor, moisture mixing chambers, bale microwave moisture sensor and a processing unit which monitors and controls the moisture in process. A moisture profile is entered by the user providing the desired moisture levels in the ginning process. The processor process the sensors information and perform best match to the desired profile by manipulation of the drying and the added moisture. First system has been in full operation at Perthshire Gin, MS and is now available for distribution.
