cDNA using primers designed from disease resistance gene analogues (RGA) were amplified and cloned from different cotton genotypes. Several hundred clones were sequenced for sequence analysis. Cluster analysis is also used to group the expressed RGA into different categories. This presentation will report the summary of the on-going research activites in a quest of identifying genes that are associated with disease resistance in cotton.
