Molecular Mapping of Restorer Gene, Rf2 and RFLP Analysis of MtDNA in CMS-D8 Cotton

This presentation reports the progress in fine mapping the restorer gene, Rf2 for cms-D8 cotton. Many new markers have been developed to be associated with Rf2. RFLP analysis has been also used to compare differences between cytoplasms between cms-D8 and Upland cotton.
