Fifteen Inch Cotton Production Systems are increasing throughout the United States. The status of these production systems will be presented along with updates to the Pro-12 VRS cotton picker units that are used to harvest cotton in these new row spacing configurations. Economic trends from Growers data and research studies will be presented comparing the cost efficiency of these systems vs. conventional row spacing. Important management considerations will be discussed for those considering fifteen inch cotton production systems.
