A study was conducted at the Dean Lee Research Station, at Alexandria, Louisiana. We evaluated the effectiveness of Cotoran, Envoke, Prowl H2O, and Staple alone and also in combination with Dual II Magnum as preemergence treatments (PRE) in cotton. Visual weed control ratings were assessed at 7, 14, and 28 days after treatment (DAT). Cotton injury ratings were also taken at the same respective timings. Length of residual weed control following PRE treatments were estimated and recorded as days after planting (DAP). Glyphosate was then applied to each respective treatment according to visual observations of weed size and density. Analysis of data is in progress.
