Trilex Advanced is a fungicide seed treatment system newly registered by Bayer CropScience for the 2007 cotton production season. Results from 2006 field performance trials show that this seed treatment system provides superior protection against stand reducing pathogens such as Rhizoctonia, Pythium, Fusarium, and Thelaviopsis. Trilex Advanced combines the proven performance of triadimenol and metalaxyl with trifloxystrobin in a single packaged system that can be applied in addition to or in combination with other seed applied insecticides and fungicides. No expensive equipment upgrades needed. The Trilex Advanced system is designed to be applied as a slurry treatment through most cotton seed treating equipment.
