Ten tarnished plant bug populations collected over a six month period from a 100 square mile area in Washington County, Mississippi were analyzed using eight polymorphic microsatellite loci. Allele frequencies of eight polymorphic microsatellite markers were used to estimate population parameters such as effective population size, gene flow, migration, and genetic diversity.
