Since introducing a cotton yield monitor at the 2000 Beltwide Cotton Conferences, Ag Leader Technology has provided cotton producers a reliable solution for yield monitoring and mapping. At the 2007 Beltwide, the next generation yield monitor will be introduced. The Insight Cotton Yield Monitor features new cotton flow sensors and a state-of-the-art 10.4-in. color display that maps cotton yield in real time during harvest. Flow sensors have been re-engineered for improved reliablily. The Insight display is making its debut in cotton picker cabs. Already used with grain yield monitors, guidance systems, and rate controllers, the Insight display offers year-round precision farming functionality.
