Herbicide treatments were evaluated for their ability to reduce the numbers of Palmer amaranth plants. Treatments included preemergence herbicides, postemergence tank mixtures with glyphosate and typical post-directed treatments. These data may be more useful than traditional visual rating information in assessing the resistance-prevention value of alternative herbicides in glyphosate-resistant weed control systems.
