A study consisting of replicated field tests located across the southern United States was initiated to evaluate the influence of seed treatments on the establishment and growth of cotton. Harpin protein-based seed treatments were applied by cooperators, and each field trial was conducted by an independent agricultural scientist or crop consultant. Plant establishment, growth, and yield were recorded.
