Glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth has been confirmed in central Georgia. Residual herbicides will be an important component of a weed control program in fields with glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth. Field studies were conducted in Georgia and North Carolina to evaluate the response of glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth to residual herbicides.
