The Next Innovation in Cotton Harvesting Technology

Trent Haggard, Case IH, 621 State Street, Racine, WI 53404

The introduction of the CaseIH Module Express 625 cotton picker represents the next revolution in producer efficiency and productivity, while minimizing the impact on the producer-to-gin transportation and handling system. This machine is commercially available in North America, beginning with the 2007 harvest season.

The CaseIH Module Express 625, with on-board module building capability, has been widely anticipated in producer circles for several years. This presentation will highlight the machine's development, features, specifications, industry advantages, and economic benefits for both producers and gins.

The Module Express 625 is the latest introduction in a CaseIH total system approach to cotton production, including tractors, planters, sprayers, harvesting, AFS site-specific farming, and tillage lines. This system has been developed with the producer, as well as the ginner, in mind, following years of industry consultation, producer input, and economic analysis.
