DG 2490 B2RF is a new Bollgard II plus Roundup Ready Flex medium maturing variety that will be introduced for sale in 2007. DG 2490 B2RF is a smooth leaf variety with excellent seedling vigor, medium plant height, vigorous plant growth, and excellent yield potential and fiber quality properties. DG 2490 B2RF was evaluated in 2006 in large plot grower strip trials throughout the Southeast, Mid-South, and Southwest, in small-plot replicated trials, and in the 2006 University Official Variety Trials (OVT's). DG 2490 B2RF was also tested under the experimental number DG 06064 B2RF.
