This study was an irrigation study conducted at the Texas Tech research farm during the years 2003 and 2004 as a part of a Master's Thesis project. The main objective of this study is to evaluate yield and fiber quality of a given set of genotypes across varying irrigation levels. The stability of both yield and fiber quality as it is affected by water availability is of primary interest. This study will provide knowledge that can be used as groundwork for future studies concerning drought tolerance and the stability of yield and fiber quality. Stability of yield and fiber quality was originally the primary focus of this study. However, due to several reasons the focus of data analysis for this study was trend analysis.
