Quality statistics of the U.S. cotton crop as determined by official classification services of the Cotton Program, Agricultural Marketing Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture for both Upland and American Pima cotton. Statistical comparisons are made of the most recent crop with the qualities produced in the previous four years. Fiber quality measurements discussed include Micronaire, Length, Strength, Uniformity, Trash, Color Rd, Color +b, Leaf Grade and Color Grade.
