This poster presents preliminary results of tests assessing the varietal response of cotton to varying rates of potassium. Varieties DP 555, DP 444 and ST 5599 were planted with potassium fertilizer rates being 0, 30, 60 and 90 lb of K2O per acre. Yield components as well as plant yield distribution were estimated. Results from other trials will also be presented, including a nitrogen source study, and a yield response of cotton to varying fertility packages under 3 tillage systems.
