Seed treatments, in-furrow insecticides and foliar-applied insecticides were tested to determine effectiveness in controlling thrips populations. Conditions following planting, along with moderate to heavy thrips pressure, provided pronounced damage to cotton plants. Seed treatments and in-furrow materials provided varying levels of control.
