In seven replicated studies conducted in North Carolina and Geogia in 2005, the relationship between bug levels, plant injury and crop value, and the phenological susceptibility of cotton to sucking bugs were investigated. Data will be presented on the results of these studies and their implications for the development of efficient monitoring methods and thresholds.
