A study into the yield effects derived by a single application of the nitro-phenolic compound Chaperone on cotton fields in Louisiana during the 2005 crop season. The study consists of a mixture of tests conducted by independent crop consultants and by growers in commercial cotton fields to determine yield effects derived by a single five ounce application of Chaperone during the active blooming period as compared to untreated check blocks in side by side comparisons. This study is a followup to the testing which was conducted in 2004 so that the any consistency of yield effects could be noted.
