Roundup Flex© varieties were evaluated in the North Mississippi River Delta. The new gene allows Roundup Original Max© or Roundup Weathermax© to be applied over the top after the appearance of the fifth true leaf. This will aid in providing superior weed control. The varieties will be available for widespread use in 2006. The performance of the varieties contaning the Roundup Flex© gene is very good.
