Glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth has been detected and confirmed in glyphosate-resistant cotton on approximately 500 acres in central Georgia. Numerous field and greenhouse experiments were conducted to confirm this population of Palmer amaranth was in fact resistant to glyphosate. The results from these trials will be discussed.
