A review of the 2005 cotton insect losses as submitted by the cotton entomologists from across the cotton belt. Arthropod pests are ranked and discussed by state and by area. An estimation of loss is presented for each state and for the nation. Cotton Insect Losses estimates have been a feature of the Cotton Conference since 1979.
