The entries contained in the Mississippi State University cotton variety trial (n=68) were inoculated with the bacterium responsible for bacterial blight at first bloom.  Observational evaluations of the symptoms expressed post-inoculation in the form of disease incidence and severity as well as yield were collected during the season.
