Recent studies on removing seed coat fragments (SCF) with experimental grid bars has suggested that using an air knife mounted on the first lint cleaner grid bar may help remove SCF by blowing the fragments out of the lint stream and depositing them into the trash stream.  Ongoing work to develop and test the air knife will be exhibited and discussed in a poster presentation.
