Genetic Analysis of a Recombinant Inbred Line Population in Gossypium barbadense

This presentation reports progresses in evaluating a recombinant inbred line population (RILs) of Pima cotton in the field for yield, its component traits, and fiber quality and in the greenhouse for responses to drought and salt stresses. The RILs are being genotyped using simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers and genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS)- SNP markers.
