Developing a Standard Method to Quantify Injury from Bollworm to Cotton Reproductive Tissue

The objective of this research is to develop a standard method to quantify bollworm injury to reproductive tissue in cotton. The creation of methods to quantify bollworm injury to reproductive tissue in cotton would create a standard whereby researchers could relate results across trials. Furthermore,this method could be associated with measurements of protein expression and plant phenology to be used as a resistance monitoring and management tool.
