Developing an Industry-Wide Standard for Leaf Hairiness

Leaf trichome densities were quantified for common varieties at locations in TX, AR, GA, and LA.  Based on these findings and findings from 2013, the authors are attempting to develop an industry-wide leaf hairiness index.
