Cotton Soil Management and Plant Nutrition - Special Session- Potassium Nutrition of Cotton
The focus of this session is “Potassium nutrition of cotton”. Appropriate potassium fertility is critical to production of optimal yields. Potassium also affects fiber properties like micronaire, length, and strength, increases water use efficiency, and can reduce the incidence and severity of certain diseases. The objective of this session is to review fundamental principles of cotton potassium nutrition and address current concerns and issues.
