This paper covers a new "old" technology that can be adapted to introduce cotton fibers as well as other fibers species into a melt-spun fiber matrix to manufacture a substrate that can be used in many wiping applications. It will discuss the patent art of the base technology, some of the products that these non-woven can be applied into, and the technology to manufacture the non-woven itself.
