Interaction of Seeding Rate and Fungicide Treatment on Cotton Seedling Survival

Gabriel L. Sciumbato, Delta Research and Extension Center, 82 Stoneville Rd, Stoneville, MS 38776

The performance of different seed, hopper-box and in-furrow applied foliar fungicides were evaluated at different seeding rates.  The use of fungicides, especially when they were applied in-furrow increased seed cotton yields at the lower seeding rates.  Differences in seed cotton yields between the different fungicide treatments were not as great at the higher seeding rates.
