This paper reports on studies conducted on a Lummus gin stand that has been retrofitted with the Powered Roll Gin Stand technology.  Previous attempts to implement the technology on Lummus gin stands has been met with mixed results.  One of the critical elements is the placement, and hence the ginning point, of the rib rail.  Results show the initial placement of the rib rail and the modified location for operating the Lummus gin stand using the Powered Roll Gin Stand technology.
