Lint Quality and Cotton Yield Increased by BioForge: a Stoller Biostimulant

Jerry H. Stoller, Ron A. Salzman, and Albert Liptay. Stoller Enterprises Inc, 4001 W Sam Houston Parkway N, Houston, TX 77043

BioForge, a biostimulant from Stoller, with strong anti-oxidant properties, enhanced lint yield by 444 lb ( 936 lb for untreated to 1380 for BioForge treated) in a drip-irrigated experiment at Texas A&M University in Weslaco Texas. A single application of BioForge @ 1 pt/acre at Match Head Square increased yield and also positively affected fiber length, strength and uniformity. BioForge treated plants had an even distribution of bolls along the whole plant from about the 6th node upwards. Stoller has established that BioForge with its strong anti-oxidant properties reduces ethylene, an important factor of stress in plants.
