Jonathan Holloway, Linda Trolinder, Jeff M. Ellis, and Scott Baker. Bayer CropScience, 3223 S. Loop 289, 325, Lubbock, TX 79426

Glytol plus LibertyLink cotton from Bayer CropScience expresses 2 herbicide tolerance traits, conferring robust tolerance to over -the-top applications of both glyphosate and glufosinate ammonium herbicides. Pending regulatory approval, Gytol + LibertyLink cotton will be registered in the US in 2010 and will be the first stacked herbicide tolerance techechnology in cotton. It will provide US cotton growers with greater flexiblity for the management of troublesome and glyphosate resistant weeds.  Results of 2007 replicated trials field trials conducted in the US are presented here.
